Other options by slot
The best magic pick for each slot and the next best options. Each percentage is the DPS you lose by swapping in just that item against Abyssal Sire.
Mechanics
The Sire wakes when attacked, with six tentacles that hit up to 30 while you destroy the four respiratory systems.
Shadow spells stun him for 30 seconds and drop the tentacles' protection. In phase 2 he swipes and flicks his tendrils, and the double flick hits up to 66. His miasma pools deal 10-30 a tick, so move two tiles clear. In phase 3 he summons four spawns, and the second stage explodes for up to 96. Pray melee against the Sire and missiles against the minions.
Which style: Melee with an accurate weapon is best. Magic works, ranged is worse.
