Mechanics
It hits up to 33 with melee and 65 with magic.
Protect from Magic only blocks a third of the magic, while Protect from Melee blocks melee fully. Standing under it can trigger a stomp for 30 to 51 that prayer won't block. One magic attack drains magic or prayer and heals it. The dark energy core drains 5-13 health every two ticks from anyone next to it and heals the beast. Its area magic splits into six projectiles over a 7x7, so stand five tiles away.
Which style: Melee with a corpbane stab weapon like the noxious halberd or Osmumten's fang. Other melee and ranged do half damage.
