Mechanics
You can't finish a gargoyle with damage.
At 8 health or less, hit it with a rock hammer, rock thrownhammer or granite hammer. A granite hammer, or the gargoyle smasher perk, does it automatically at 9 or less. It slashes for up to 11 every 4 ticks. Poison and venom work on the top floor but not in the basement.
Which style: Crush, its weakest defence. Earth spells do 40% extra, and golembane weapons work.
