Mechanics
Its attack is three slash hits rolled against your melee defence, and if one misses the rest miss too.
After every six attacks it alternates two specials. In searing rays it shoves you behind a shield and fires rays of light. Keep moving with the shield, because each hit makes the blinding worse. In the clone attack you're bound in the middle while clones spawn in five rounds of three, 15 in total. Face each clone as it appears to avoid damage. Only melee damages the boss in that phase.
Which style: Melee. Only melee hurts it during the clone phase, where slow, heavy hitters are best.
